Player Development Program (PDP)

Top Caliber is excited to introduce our new Player Development Program this year, aimed at cultivating youth volleyball in our community. This program is designed for children ages 9-13, who have some experience in rec leagues or clinics, or who are new to the sport but have a keen interest in pursuing travel volleyball in the future.

Participants will practice weekly on Sundays alongside our state level travel teams, where they will receive coaching from our skilled instructors. The program focuses on developing fundamental volleyball skills through both structured drills and game-like scenarios, and players will have the chance to learn and play all positions on the court.

Athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in game-like environments through scrimmages within our club, as well as with other clubs in eastern North Carolina with similar programs. This offers a chance to put these skills into practice in a competitive setting. The season runs from mid November to March, and we strongly encourage athletes to join our Fall Academy beforehand to get the most out of their experience. After the Player Development Program concludes, participants can opt to continue their training with our Spring Academy.

Registration is officially open on our website.  Evaluation will occur during our middle school tryout session, and athletes must sign up for the 12U session to be evaluated for PDP.  We look forward to growing the sport and enhancing player development through both the PDP and Academy programs!

Cost for PDP is $550 and includes 15 sessions (practice/play) and a T-shirt.  This is paid in 2 installments of 275 on October 15th and January 1st.  Evaluation cost is $45, and again, if interested in this option, please sign up for 12U tryouts on our website.
